The last day of the year, reflections and wishes

For many people December, and especially the last day of the year represent a time of introspection and balance of the ending year.  I am not one of those people, as I am not a dweller; I look briefly at the events and moments of the ending year more on the perspective of lessons learned and appreciation for the happy moments.

I would be lying if I would tell you that 2013 was a great year for me and that I have loved everything that took place during this year. There were even things that I have utterly hated and that made me suffer heavily, but it wouldn’t be fair to dismiss those difficult moments and thank life for putting these struggles in my way, because I feel that I end this year a much stronger and wiser person.
I usually prefer to live these days with the calm that age brings me year after year and make wishes and plan for year ahead. I look hopeful at the future and wait excited for new beginnings.
I would also like to end this year thanking everybody that has crossed my path in 2013 and has fueled my strength in any way. Your words or actions give me a boost and make me more sure that not being afraid to take chances towards fulfilling goals is always rewarding for those who make an effort and believe things are possible.

Happy 2014 to you all and may this upcoming year be filled with dreams that come true!
